Dear Families,

We will be having a food drive starting Monday, November 8th and ending Friday, November 12th to benefit the White Oak Community Church backpack program. Every week the church provides food to send home with students who are in need of food for the weekend. The following items are needed for the backpack program:

Capri Sun/juice boxes

applesauce cups/pouches

Nutri-Grain bars

Pop-tarts

Raisins

Peanut butter crackers

Fruit snacks

peanut butter dipping cups

Beef jerky

8 oz. bottled water.

All other foods will be donated to a local food pantry. As an incentive for student participation, we will allow an extra recess for the grade that brings the most items. Please help us to stock the church for this awesome program that benefits our own students! Thank you for encouraging your children to participate!

Sincerely,

Ashley McClanahan

School Counselor
