We will NOT go outside on Monday at any time. In order to make sure our students eyes are safe, we will view the Solar Eclipse on a live stream in the cafeteria that day.
I am sending a letter home with students Friday with information about my Remind text messages. Please join to stay informed about what is happening in our class. We all made it through our first day as Third Graders! Mr. McBride came down from 5th grade to give the students an interesting and fun pep talk about this year. He used a backpack and some really big rocks to show the kids that they are not in this 3rd grade journey alone. He told them that not only will the 3rd grade teachers be here for them, but that every staff member on campus is here to help them be successful. The kids LOVED it! I think all the kids were tired after the first day back from Summer break, but they worked great!
What an exciting day this was! It was great to meet my students and see how excited they are to be 3rd graders! Thank you parents for bringing your precious children tonight.
I am so excited to meet all my new students at Meet the Teacher on Tuesday night. Hope to see everyone there.
